Statistical Physics and Machine Learning: Application

Applications are selected based on their motivation, previous engagement within one of the relevant fields, and ideas for future challenges at the emergent interface. We highly welcome applications from junior researchers.

The motivation letter should include a description of your previous exposition to the topics of the workshop, your current career stage, what you believe are future challenges, and what you expect to gain from the workshop. In general, contributions are in the form of a poster but we select a few contributed talks based on the submitted abstract.

The conference fee of € 250,- is payable in advance by bank transfer or credit card (details to follow) and covers full board at the conference venue as well as the relevant conference materials. Accommodation needs to be booked and paid for separately. We have a contingent of rooms at the Seminaris at a cost of € 94,- per night.

Participants from LMICs as well as young participants irrespective of origin can apply for support in case they struggle to meet the full cost of participation. In a small number of cases, we will be able to offer partial support.
